What is this feeling of loneliness?
Being lonely is damn hard. It makes us feel as if it is just us against the world and that know one understands us. Fact is, that may not be true. In most cases there are many people who care and love us unconditionally, but we are so blindsided by all of these negative emotions that the positive is blocked out. Truthfully, the loneliness is really all in our head because even if we are surrounded by 5 or 10 of our closest friends and family, we still can sometimes feel completely and utterly alone. And sometimes when we are actually completely alone we don't necessarily feel "lonely"...because we don't really notice it since we are surrounded with ourselves and our environment. Personally, I just think this feeling of loneliness has a direct connection to being unhappy. It isn't about quantity, but quality!
